The Marabou Stork
The Marabou Stork is a large wading bird in the stork family. It lives in Africa, south of the Sahara, in both wet and arid habitats, often near human habitation. A massive bird, large specimens are thought to reach a height of 60 inches or 5 feet, a weight of over 20 pounds and have a wingspan of at least 10.5 feet!
The Andean Condor
The Andean Condor is a species of South American Bird in the New World vulture family Cathartidae. Found in the Andes Mountains and adjacent Pacific coasts of Western South America, it is the largest flying land bird in the Western Hemisphere. The average wingspan ranges from 9 to 10 feet and males weigh up to 33 pounds!
