God Bless America!

Webberville Elementary School hosted their Veterans Day Celebration assembly on Friday, November 9. 2018. Twenty-three area veterans attended representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. Principal, Jeannette Kiernan, welcomed and invited each guest to share their military experiences with the students and staff. Several students read poems and their personal notes of gratitude to the veterans. Under the direction of music teacher, Mr. Alex Ellul, each grade level stood and sang a military medley of songs.

Mrs. Suzanne Cloudman created a special music video, displaying pictures and memories the veterans shared with the school. The Webberville STARS created cards and patriotic artwork, which second grade students presented to each veteran at the end of the assembly.

Mrs. Sue Douglas and Mr. Doug Bowman were on hand to display and share war memorabilia and pictures with the students and guests.
