Travel With Us
Israel is located in the Middle East and is about the size of New Jersey. In the east, Israel is bordered by Jordan, Syria, and the Palestinian Authority. Egypt borders Israel to the south, and Lebanon borders to the north.
Israel borders two seas, the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea. The water in the Dead Sea is so salty that no plants can live there and the water is warm all year a round. The mud in the sea is good for your skin!
The government is a Parliamentary Democracy. Israel is the only fully democratic country in the Middle East. Unlike in America, no one party has control of the government. Instead, all the political parties get seats depending on how many votes they get. This way, they have to all work together.
The official languages in Israel are Hebrew and Arabic.
