Stingrays are very unique fish. Unlike most fish, their bodies are flat, with their eyes on top and their mouth on the bottom. They also do not have bones; instead, they have cartilage like your nose! They swim using their "wings" and glide across the ocean. Rays will settle on the bottom and use their wings to fling sand on top of themselves to hide. When startled, they will pop out of the sand flee.
