Riverside Elementary Color Dash

Riverside Students Enjoy Color Dash

Riverside Principal Melissa Martin along with staff and parents wanted to celebrate how hard their students work. So after weeks of testing, students got to celebrate with a Color Dash.

Each student received a white shirt and walked or ran around Riverside Park while approximately 100 volunteers doused them with nontoxic and washable colored powder. After the dash, students enjoyed healthy snacks.

“It was really fun,” said second-grader Dennis Lenzy. “I really liked how colorful my hair was at the end.”
