St. Mary Early Learning Center (Charlotte)

The Developmental Kindergarten class at St. Mary’s Early Learning Center discussed who is on different coins and what each coin is worth. We sang a rhyme to help us remember. We traced a penny, nickel, dime and quarter then we wrote the name of each.

We also talked about the bones in our body and had the opportunity to pick a bone and then draw it on our group paper. We drew the body with the cranium, sternum, ribs, heart, pelvis, femur, patella, tibia and fibia, tarsel, carpel, ulna, radius and our humerus. We like to say the names of the bones.

We are sorting different items by tens and then counting to 100. We even jumped 100 times by counting by ones. We felt our heart beat and found our pulse.
